Q: Who issues the store credit?

Q: Is this insurance or a refund?
A: Neither. It is a brand loyalty programme. Store credit — not cash, not a refund. Locked to your store. Auto-applied at checkout. No GST implications.

Q: Which price do you track?
A: The listed SKU price on your product page only. Not checkout prices, coupons, bundles, or cart discounts. Listed page price drops trigger credit. Nothing else.

Q: What if I run sales?

Q: What does my customer see?

Q: Why 45 days? Why not 30 or 60?
A: Three reasons — and each one is deliberate. Returns resolve first: By day 45, the vast majority of returns, cancellations, and RTOs have settled. Customers start drifting: On day 46, your brand begins to fade from their memory, making it the highest-intent moment for re-engagement without spending on ads. New collection is live: In 45 days you likely have launched new arrivals, giving the customer a reason to return and repeat purchase.

Q: What are the GST implications?
A: None associated with running PDP. The store credit your brand issues is a loyalty reward — similar in nature to loyalty points or a gift voucher issued to an existing customer. No cash changes hands. No return transaction is created. Your CA will typically classify this as a marketing or loyalty expense. We recommend confirming with your CA for your specific filing situation.

Q: Does this work with COD orders?
A: Yes. Protection applies to all completed orders — prepaid and COD. If a COD order is refused at delivery and marked RTO, it is automatically made ineligible via real-time Shopify sync. Store credit is only ever issued on orders where the customer accepted delivery and kept the product.

Q: Am I adding a new cost to my P&L?
A: No. You are redirecting money you are already losing.
